Skullcandy Collabs

Here are a few of my favorite collab packaging and paid social executions we did at Skullcandy.

Find Your Frequency

Skullcandy’s 2021-22 campaign is Find Your Frequency. Each month, we announce a new theme that we call “frequencies,” like “Exploration,” “Creativity,” “Expression” etc. Each frequency coincides with exclusive music performances, product drops, social causes and more. Through exploring various frequencies, we invite our followers to find and express their own frequency—the thing that makes them tick. This is the launch video for the campaign, shared across all our social media.

Skullcandy—Let Me Explainers

Skullcandy ran a series of animated explainers that lived on our social media pages and our website. It offered simple instructions and insights into our latest technology in a casual, but informative delivery. Here are two of my favorites I wrote.

Verizon 5G Home

Verizon 5G Home launched in 2021. If you’re not familiar, 5G Home takes Verizon’s 5G broadband network and makes it work as Wi-Fi for your home. Our team at MRM identified three main target markets, and we made a video for each potential costumer. These videos lived on the Verizon’s Amazon Storefront page.

Verizon: 5G Right Network

In 2019, Verizon officially launched its 5G network. With all the hype and talk about what 5G is and isn’t, we wanted to produce a video series that clearly communicated the capabilities of the next generation network. In this series, we cover how 5G will affect the public sector, the private sector and the unique capabilities of Verizon’s 5G network.

Sidenote: we originally planned to have a professional actor be the spokesperson, but there was a last-minute change to use actual Verizon engineers. So as far as engineer actors go, these guys hit a home run.

Verizon: Redefine Reliable

A lot of the work we do on Verizon is targeted to first responders. One of the words that gets thrown around a lot in the network industry is “reliable.” In this video, we redefine what “reliable” means. When it comes to first responders, it means a lot more than just miles covered and people connected.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild

If you'd remotely self-describe as a gamer, you'd know the hype for Zelda: Breath of the Wild was real. We wanted to create something that would get our millennial target market excited, not just informed. We took in-game themes of an eerie blue glow and adapted it to a hand-painted billboard—by using glow-in-the-dark paint.

Mama Francesca

Here are some fun social posts I got to make for a small parmesan cheese company.

Switch Launch

As exciting as the Switch Launch was, it was a bit tricky. A new console you can play at home AND on the go all while promoting new games. We decided to put ads in OOH locations where people might find themselves wanting to kill some time. City trains, buses, bus shelters, digital kiosks, billboards, etc.
