Don’t ask me how this collab came to fruition. My job was to write some fun headlines about beer and bass.

I got to put a fun spin on Budweiser’s famous packaging. The banner text reads: “Skullcandy and Budweiser raise a glass to the dreamers. The full senders. The free thinkers. The deep-track listeners. The ones with their volume stuck at max. The ones who don’t just live life, but feel every moment. We made this sound exclusively for you. So crack open a cold and turn up the volume. Cheers.”

Our local friends at Pit Viper are always a riot. I was asked to write some fun headlines for paid social, and the seeding kit card that journalists and influencers received that came with a matching pair of Pits. I loved combining Skullcandy’s voice with Pit Viper’s, such a wild line to walk.

Skullcandy has done 4/20 promotions since it began back in 2003. But this year was special. It was the first time we did a 4/20 collab, and with Doritos no less. We only made 420 units, which sold out in less than a day.
